We were approached to work on designs for a little one bedroom cottage in Anglesey for a Client that we had worked with on a number of occasions. The brief was to refurbish and extend the cottage providing an additional bedroom and workspace - to provide a retreat for the busy owners city life. We were influenced by the local materials and the landscape setting.

A new zinc roof to the cottage has a large central rooflight along its ridge, flooding the internal spaces with natural light. A timber hallway connects the existing cottage with a new bedroom extension that has a vaulted sculptural roof with central rooflight above.
