Barnes House

This Victorian Terraced house was in a good state of repair - but the internal configuration of spaces did not work for the family with spaces that had no relationship with the garden and no strong design influence.

The owners were able to bring design ideas from their working life around Europe which has led to Danish and Swiss influences within the design.

The ground floor spaces have been re-configured to provide a larger kitchen space overlooking the garden. The garden design was crucial to the internal spaces and we have been working with Ula Maria on this project. A little garden studio sits at the end of the garden with its own fireplace looking peacefully back at the house.
