Boutique Hotel, Belgravia, London

These two listed townhouses sit in a prominent central London location, accommodating a family run boutique hotel.
Works to the building involved a full refurbishment and reconfiguration at ground floor and basement levels and refurbishment of the first floor.
The logistics of operating a 24 bed hotel within a listed building are a challenge and the spaces, services and circulation routes were critical to sleep, feed and wash over 50 people a night.
The new breakfast room doubles up as The Buttery that is open to the public during the day. The original features of the building were restored and miles of surface mounted cables and ducts relocated. This restored the feeling of a late Georgian, early Victorian domestic reception room.
