The owners of this large semi-detached late Victorian house in West Norwood, were looking refurbish the existing living, kitchen and dining spaces creating a stronger relationship with the garden. An infill extension and ground floor re-configuration look to enhance the existing building fabric whilst providing a reading space looking out directly over the garden.

The raised hide space with porthole window provides an elevated space to enjoy the internal and external views. Colour, texture and pattern are particularly important to the Client - the spaces in turn becoming an opportunity to reflect their travels around the globe.
